Dr. Paula U’Ren, a professor and chairperson of SCSU’s Department of Kinesiology and former SCSU Softball head coach, was honored with the Breaking Barriers Award by National Girls & Women in Sports Day — Minnesota.
The Herberger Business School was honored this fall as a recipient of the 2023 Innovation in Business Education Award by the MidAmerican Business Dean’s Association (MADBA). The school’s submission of “MBA Program Revisions and Growth” was presented at the 2023 MADBA Annual Meeting, where the theme was “Leveraging Market Disruption for Growth: How to Plan for the Future.”

Dr. Harlander is using ISELF’s clean room to test a next-generation instrument that is intended to orbit the Earth while monitoring upper atmospheric winds. This new instrument, the Interferometer for Neutral Dynamics (INDI), is a follow-on to the ICON satellite mission.

Dr. John Sinko, Associate Professor in SCSU’s Department of Physics and Astronomy, and undergraduate Physics student Brian Davis each presented at the 34th International Symposium on Space 技术 and Science (ISTS) and 12th Nano-Satellite Symposium (NSAT) conference on June 3-9 in Kurume, Japan.
